Mashhad, Iran—The governor of Khorasan Razavi province and the head of the Mashhad Chamber of Commerce met with traders and officials from economic organizations in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan to discuss ways to expand trade and economic cooperation.
The meeting emphasized the importance of bolstering commercial and economic partnerships. Participants suggested initiatives such as strengthening rail transportation with Turkmenistan and leveraging Chabahar Port’s potential as a transit hub.
Furthermore, the need to reduce barriers to investment and enhance cooperation to overcome obstacles to development was highlighted.
